What do you do when you have a passion for great beer, drinks, food and quality events? If you’re Mungo & Guy, you start a events management company of course.
MFGF Events Ltd, the events company run by us, brothers Mungo & Guy Finlayson was founded to support and further strengthen our festival brands, Banchory Beer Festival, Inverurie Beer Festival and True OriGINs - The Scottish Gin Festival.
The idea was first brought to light one winter’s evening over a campfire in Deeside, early 2014. The brand finally became a reality when we made the trip to companies’ house on the 1st of April 2014 and so MFGF Events Ltd was born.
Since then, the brand has gone from strength to strength and grown. We have developed new festivals and have worked hard to collaborate with some of the finest breweries and distilleries in the UK… making some great friends along the way.
During our development of growing our festivals and building unique and rustic bars and furniture. We have naturally expanded the business into other areas. One of our key areas now is wedding bar hire. Offering personalised bar solutions for all your needs which are fully installed, equipped, staffed and licensed.

"Guy & Mungo set up their bar in our large garage/barn and provided a huge range of local spirits as well as benches & barrels which fitted in perfectly with our informal, rustic style wedding. From our initial conversations with Guy to the day itself, we were really impressed with the service and nothing was too much trouble. Many of our guests have said what a good laugh they were, their service was 5* and they stayed well into the early hours of the morning tidying everything away.
